Oracle Card Review: Denise Linn Gateway Oracle by Hay House

In this review, I’m going to tell you why The Gateway Oracle is one of my favorite decks.

The Card Deck

The Gateway Oracle features 44 beautifully illustrated cards. The cards have a shiny texture, so they are easy to shuffle. They’re somewhat large (similar to the size of other Hay House card decks). It features a companion book that explains what each card means.

Messages

I particularly love this deck because it always give great advice. Every time I pull a card for myself, it is exactly what I need to hear. All of the cards have positive messages. There isn’t a single negative or scary card in the deck.

I am not a fan of overly positive decks because they don’t capture the realities of life. Life has its highs and lows. However, Denise Linn’s cards address the negative aspects of life while still being positive. As far as I’m concerned, that is a win-win situation. The way her cards do this is by providing constructive feedback and encouragement rather than just highlighting negative life situations. Not only does this deck provide clarity, but it also helps the reader come to inspiring personal insights.

Spreads

This deck seems to work best for one to three card spreads. You could do a more complicated spread, but these cards get right to the point. You will get a lot of information and insight from just one card.

If you are using these with clients, you may find that they work better for shorter readings relating to life purpose and direction.

Happy reading,
