Artist Statement

Danyelle Simone

A space exists between action and inaction, suffering and peace — between fear and courage. This in-between space is presence. That’s what I aim to capture in my acrylic paintings. I often represent it with the horizon, a thin gold line, or contrasting colors. For me, painting itself is an act of presence. I paint to meditate, to flow, and to heal.
